- 1030 Setting sail from the marina
- 1030 to 1430 sailing around Conwy Bay

Please note that the actual timings change day to day because of variations in tide times.
Personal care and preparation for Day cruises
Horizon Sailing ensures that everyone sailing on Testa Rossa takes meals and refreshments which are nutritious and sufficiently sustaining for the calorie-burning activity of sailing. Menu plans are varied and in general, food is prepared and cooked on board.
Please clearly state any specific food requirements or have allergies on the booking form.
Day trips are held during daylight hours and we be depart from and return to a marina. Please bring with you clothing that is suitable for an outdoor activity in cool conditions (temperature around 10-20 deg C), bearing in mind the possibility of cool wind and rain.
You may require:
- Warm clothing such as fleecy jumper and trousers and/or thermal underwear
- Windproof and, if possible, waterproof jacket and trousers
- Hat, scarf or a neck buff, thick socks
- Footwear – deck shoes or trainers with a flat non-marking sole; walking or snow boots with a flexible sole. Unfortunately wellington boots tend to slide on wet decks.
- Gloves if you are susceptible to having cold hands
- Personal items such as medication, special food
Note – items can be brought in a soft bag with NO wheels such as a rucksack or sports bag

Personal care and preparation for two day or longer cruises
Horizon Sailing ensures that everyone sailing on Testa Rossa takes meals and refreshments which are nutritious and sufficiently sustaining for the calorie-burning activity of sailing. Menu plans are varied and in general, food is prepared and cooked on board.
Please clearly state any specific food requirements or have allergies on the booking form.
On a two-day cruise we often spend nights on a mooring rather than in a marina; in addition to the clothing required for a day trip please bring:
- Warm clothing, shirt, jumper or jacket – especially if the passage includes night-time sailing
- Personal items for the duration of the trip, including a notebook, towel
- Night wear
- Bedding – sleeping bag and pillow; a small blanket may be a useful extra
- Head torches (not high power), preferably with an optional red light
Please note that space is limited and you will find it easier if everything fits into one soft bag! If you bring a hard bag or case, the contents will need to be transferred to smaller bags for stowage and the case left on shore.
Equipment
On board electrical supply is 12v: Testa Rossa has one 12v socket for charging phones and other mobile devices. There are no sockets for shaving equipment
